I’ve been thinking a lot lately about self-worth, self- love, self-care, people-pleasing and the like. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve also been realizing a lot of things about myself and life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe it’s that mid-life thing they talk about… LOL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But seriously, I’ve been doing some work and getting to a point where I can honestly say it and believe it that I am awesome. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes, in the past I’ve done some awesome things but I think there was always doubt or questioning about if I was awesome. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The external validation is what I needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why I strived for perfection and achievement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But there comes a point when you realize enough is enough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don’t want to rely on that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am enough as I am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am awesome as I am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I can also be awesome but want to improve myself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I can also love myself as is but want to grow, become stronger and better. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think for so many of us that is the case. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From a young age we feel loved hearing “good job” when we get that A on a test or score the winning point in a game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But at some point the As stop and cheers die down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then in the quiet, in the silence, we are left alone only to question am I enough and ask what’s next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once we start to turn inward and do the work, it becomes apparent that we are enough and nothing has to be next. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And funny enough in the peace that comes, there is self-worth and self-love that has always been there just waiting to be discovered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you discover this and unlock it, it is your super power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is no more need to say yes to everyone else and no to yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is no more need to seek cheers and applause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is no more need to care what anyone else says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You are whole just as things are. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You start saying yes to yourself and no to everyone else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You seek your own peace and quiet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You care how you feel and fulfill your own needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is a wonderful place to live from. <\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
