I\u2019m still here! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m bummed I haven\u2019t kept up with posting at least once per week. That was my goal. Life took over and unfortunately I haven\u2019t kept up here. I miss this writing and plan to take some control back. Yes!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So what\u2019s been going on you ask?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I had a last minute temping opportunity come up doing dentistry over 1.5hrs away. Ironically that temp job came up after I applied to several dentisting jobs which then led to lots of calls and e-mails about those permanent positions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also had my first Revenue Analysis Consult (RAC) with Benco Dental in my practice coach position in those couple weeks as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then I traveled to Ohio to visit with family. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now I\u2019m back! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But struggling more than ever. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m super happy to be back home. And with my dogs \ud83d\ude42 But I\u2019m finding that there are not many dentist job options available for part-time. It makes me really sad. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yesterday I had an interview and most of the docs work 4 if not 5 days a week. Another call I had for a different company works 7am-7pm! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let me tell you if I worked 7am-7pm you would not want to be my patient! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is one possibility that I\u2019m working on having patience with that could be a good one so being patient it is. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since I have now done my first Benco Dental RAC delivery I\u2019m hoping that more come along as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course there\u2019s the lingering question in my mind about what is the long-term goal or solution? As I\u2019ve mentioned I\u2019d like to get out of clinical dentistry all-together but I\u2019m not sure what that entails or looks like right now. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s so hard being patient and having faith that things will work out as they should. I try to remember this quote from the book, The Alchemist, \u201cWhen you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
