Sometimes it\u2019s ok to call it good enough. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was out this morning trimming bushes and pulling weeds, in the North Carolina heat and humidity no less! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a good feeling to see progress trimming away, cleaning up the pieces, and putting them in the trash can. The sweat was pouring! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Branches on the bushes taunted me sticking out here and there and the fallen leaves and small pieces in the mulch and pine straw almost seemed to say here I am, come get me! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I kept cutting away and bending over, sweat dripping, picking up the cut pieces, moving along bush to bush. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At one point it came to me. It was that it\u2019s ok to call it good enough and move on\u2026and be done! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019s the sayings \u201cperfect is the enemy of good\u201d and \u201cperfect is the enemy of done.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These were ringing true and louder than ever! Aside from that the thought that I\u2019ll probably have to be out there doing it again late fall was telling me to call it good enough. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So I checked that off my list\u2026for now!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
